Mark Quinlivan
Carrier IQ

Mark has over 23 years of domestic and international management experience, both in start-up environments and multi-billion dollar companies.  Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer of edocs, which was acquired in 2005 by Siebel Systems.  Before edocs, Mark held senior positions at Lucent Technologies, where he was responsible for their worldwide consulting & integration organization.  Prior to Lucent, Mark held senior management positions at Ascend Communications and Stratus Computer.  Mark has an undergraduate degree in Management and a Masters degree in Computer Science from WPI, and completed the PMD program at the Harvard University School of Business.
Bruce Leak
Carrier IQ

As a co-founder of WebTV networks, Bruce was instrumental in the conception and deployment of the world's first consumer Internet appliance and service. Later, as President of Microsoft's WebTV Network subsidiary, Bruce was responsible for the growth and management of the business in excess of one million customers and $300 million in revenue. Prior to WebTV, Bruce held senior management and engineering roles at Rocket Science Games and General Magic Inc. He began his career at Apple Computer, where he invented and brought to market QuickTime and 32-bit QuickDraw. A graduate of Stanford University with bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering, Bruce also holds several technology patents.

Nancy Schoendorf
Mohr Davidow Ventures

Nancy joined MDV in 1993 bringing seventeen years of industry experience in a variety of engineering and executive positions. A managing partner, her investment focus is in the areas of software and services. Nancy spent 10 years at Hewlett-Packard where she ran operating systems projects including HP-UX and its real-time extensions as engineering section manager. She later joined Software Publishing Corp. (SPCO), creator of Harvard Graphics, serving as an officer and Vice President of R&D and Product Development. Following that assignment, she managed the development of the Solaris kernel and operating system as Director of Systems Software Development at Sun Microsystems. Nancy earned a bachelor's degree with distinction in computer science and mathematics from Iowa State University and a master's degree with honors in business administration (MBA) from the University of Santa Clara.

Jon Feiber
Mohr Davidow Ventures

Jon joined MDV in 1991 where his primary focus is networking and computing systems investments. In more than 10 years of venture investing he has identified and guided numerous entrepreneurs and played a significant role in growing category-leading companies. Jon launched his career at Amdahl where he served as a Senior Engineer. He joined Sun Microsystems in 1983 where he worked in managerial positions overseeing product development and strategy in the areas of software development, software engineering technologies and networking. When he left Sun to join MDV he was Sun's Vice President of Networking. Jon is a member of the Caltech Information Science and Technology Advisory Board. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Colorado.

Kaj-Erik Relander
Accel Partners

Before joining Accel, Kaj-Erik was President and CEO of Sonera Corporation, the progressive Finnish telecommunications company. Prior to this assignment, Kaj-Erik held a number of other senior management positions during his seven-year tenure with Sonera. He was instrumental in transforming the company into an innovative, publicly traded company with diverse international operations that cover both fixed network and mobile communications and services.

Prior to joining Sonera in 1994, Kaj-Erik served as Director at SITRA, a Finnish Technology investment company. At SITRA, Kaj-Erik was responsible for private equity investments in technology growth companies in information technology.

Kaj-Erik has served on the Board of Directors at a variety of international companies including Ledstiernan (based in Sweden), Helmet Capital Fund, F-Secure, A-Company, H&B Advisory Board, Printing Network of Europe, Kreatel (in Sweden) and Axiomlab (in the U.K.) as well as TietoEnator, SmartTrust, Turkcell (in Turkey), VoiceStream Wireless (in the U.S.) and Zed.

Kaj-Erik earned his master's degree in economics from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration with majors in international economics. He later received an M.B.A. from the Helsinki School of Economics and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Bruce Sachs
Charles River Ventures

Bruce joined CRV in the fall of 1999, bringing 20 years experience in the telecommunications, networking, Internet and computing industries. Bruce is a director of several private and public companies, including iControl, BigBand Networks, Celerica, Cedar Point Communications, Acopia Networks and Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:VRTX). Previously, Bruce served on the boards of American Internet (acquired by Cisco Systems), C-Port (acquired by Motorola), Arrowpoint (Nasdaq:ARPT) and Media 100 (Nasdaq:MDEA).

Bruce led Charles River investments in Flarion Technologies (acquired by QUALCOMM), River Delta Networks (acquired by Motorola), and Hammerhead Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems), and served on all three boards. Prior to joining Charles River Ventures, Bruce served as executive vice president and general manager of Ascend's (now Lucent Technologies, Nasdaq:LU) Carrier Signaling and Management Group. Bruce joined Ascend in October 1998 through its acquisition of Stratus Computer. At Stratus he served as president and CEO, repositioning the company through the integration of telecom software and services onto its traditional computing foundation.

Bruce holds a master of engineering in electrical engineering from Cornell University, an MBA from Northeastern University and a BS in electrical engineering from Bucknell University.

Dominic Endicott
Nauta Capital

Dominic has over 20 years of global management and consulting experience, across North America, Europe and Latin America. He manages Nauta Capital’s operations in North America, and is Nauta’s representative on the Carrier IQ Board. He previously managed North American operations for Cluster Consulting, a company owned by the founders of Nauta, and acquired in 2000 by Diamond Technology Partners. As a consultant with BCG, Monitor and Booz Allen, Dominic has worked extensively with global wireless operators, their suppliers and content partners. Dominic has an undergraduate degree in Economics from the London School of Economics, and a Master’s degree in management from MIT’s Sloan School. Nauta's US operations are based in Boston, and its European operations are based in Barcelona.

Konstantin Othmer
Core Mobility

Kon has more than 20 years' experience as a developer, leader, and founder in the high technology industry. Before co-founding Core Mobility, Kon was the founding CEO of ePeople, Inc., a collaborative CRM application software company, which has raised $70M from Redpoint Ventures, Menlo Ventures and Integral Capital. With his first startup, Catapult Entertainment, later acquired by HearMe.com (NASDAQ: HEAR), he served as Vice President of Product Development and Customer Support. He has also served as a consultant to several private technology companies including WebTV Networks (now part of Microsoft), Immersion (now NASDAQ: IMMR), Cepheid (now NASDAQ: CPHD), and Health Hero Networks. Prior to his involvement with early-stage companies, Kon was a Distinguished Engineer at Apple Computer. He has authored three books-two technical books published by Addison Wesley and one book on seven-card stud poker. Kon holds bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Caltech. He holds ten technology patents and has several others pending.
