Vice President, Marketing and Products
Michael joined Carrier iQ in August 2014 as vice president of marketing and products, responsible for Carrier iQ’s product management, go-to-market strategy, demand generation, branding, positioning, and communications.
For over 25 years in the information technology and communications industries Michael has been a leader in bringing game-changing technology products and services to market. Prior to joining Carrier iQ, Michael was CEO at Bamboo Solutions, a collaboration software company, and CSO at Edge Communications, a provider of voice, data and IT infrastructure solutions. He was founder and managing director at The Chasm Group, LLC, one of Silicon Valley’s leading market strategy consultancies, where for over a decade he led strategic and go-to-market advisory projects for over 100 client companies ranging from HP, IBM, Computer Associates, Agilent, General Electric, to scores of early and growth stage ventures. He has served as a board member for five technology businesses ranging from start-up to over $100M in sales, and has served as a guest lecturer at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, Santa Clara University and the Kauffman Foundation on topics of market adoption and technology market strategy. Michael’s early career included roles in sales, product management, marketing and business development at Schlumberger, Autodesk, and two successful engineering automation software companies.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Rivier College.
